Boulevard Burgers & Big Cat Rescue are joining forces to help raise awareness for abused big cats. This partnership is set to coincide with the upcoming premier of Disney’s The Lion King. Boulevard Burgers & Tap House located at 5905 Gulf Blvd, in St. Pete Beach will be featuring the “Hakuna Matata” burger for sale in support of this accredited organization.
Big Cat Rescue has a mission to provide homes for big cats, end abuse of big cats in captivity, and prevent extinction of big cats in the wild including tigers, lions, leopards, cougars, bobcats, lynx, servals, ocelots and caracals.
The burger on display the “Hakuna Matata” is made with half-pound Boulevard beef, smothered in melted provolone, roasted red pepper, arugula and a red wine garlic aioli – $1 sold of each burger will be donated to Big Cat Rescue, now until July 31.
To make the deal even sweeter, anyone who orders the Hakuna Matata burger will be entered to win a “Big Cat Experience” this includes a walking tour of the sanctuary where lions, leopards, tigers and many other animals reside. The winner will be selected on July 31st.
Boulevard Burgers & Tap House is open Monday – Sunday for both lunch and dinner. The all-day happy hour hosts an everyday $6 bloody mary, plus 15 local craft beers on draft with 1/2 off appetizers on Monday.
